With an initiative inspired by Hyatt’s ‘World of Care’ concept, he is eager to positively impact people, the community, and the environment, working to strengthen Alila Villas Uluwatu’s reputation as one of Asia’s premier resorts.
A career rooted in hospitality traditions
Originating from Bordeaux, France, Durier discovered his passion for hospitality through his grandfather, a baker, who motivated him to blend culinary arts and exceptional guest service.
Since starting his career in 2002 as a waiter, he has gained extensive knowledge across hospitality operations from room services to food and beverage and finance management.
His journey includes impactful roles at notable establishments such as InterContinental Bora Bora, The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, Hotel Icon Hong Kong, and more. In 2021, Durier achieved his first general manager role at COMO Cocoa Island in the Maldives, followed by a position at Nawa Bajo in Indonesia.
