Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) has officially launched its direct service connecting Hong Kong to Guilin, China, marking a significant addition to its route offerings in Mainland China. This new service commenced on April 15th.
The flight operates twice weekly, specifically on Tuesdays and Saturdays, enhancing connectivity for passengers. The inaugural flight included representatives from GBA, alongside Ricky Chong, Assistant General Manager for Air Network Development at the Airport Authority Hong Kong.
Upon arrival at Guilin Liangjiang International Airport at 9:00 AM, passengers and crew received a warm welcome from Wang Zixi, Director-General of the Guilin Municipal Bureau of Culture, and Stephen Loh, Chief Operating Officer of Greater Bay Airlines, during a welcoming ceremony.
Guilin is famed for its breathtaking landscapes, with popular attractions such as Li River, Elephant Trunk Hill, and the Sun and Moon Pagodas.
