Marbella to Welcome 'Enea', a New Culinary Project by David Olivas and Fabián Villar This June

The new venue aims to celebrate traditional Andalusian dining in a contemporary setting, marking a significant addition to Marbella's gastronomic scene.

Marbella is poised to unveil ‘Enea’, the latest culinary venture from David Olivas and Fabián Villar, the duo behind the acclaimed Back restaurant. Nestled in the vibrant Old Town, this new eatery draws inspiration from traditional Andalusian dining houses while offering a modern dining experience that emphasizes the joy of sharing meals with family and friends.

The concept for ‘Enea’ has been in development for two years, including the choice of name. After careful consideration, Olivas and Villar secured a prime location on San Lázaro Street that aligns perfectly with their vision. The establishment will feature two distinct atmospheres: an animated and cozy basement wine cellar dedicated to the Andalusian philosophy of sharing, and an upper terrace serving classic Andalusian dishes in half portions.

The region’s wines will take center stage in the cellar, complemented by selections from other Spanish regions. The opening of ‘Enea’ in June signifies a milestone for the Back Marbella Group, which earned its first Michelin star in November 2023 for its restaurant Back. With this new venue, Olivas and Villar continue to solidify their reputation as one of the region’s most formidable culinary teams.
