  • A total of 50,613 flights are expected to depart from UK airports over the Easter school holidays in 2025, amounting to over nine million seats.
  • The leading destination will be Dublin with 2,021 flights, followed by Amsterdam, Malaga, Alicante, and Palma.
  • Heathrow will take the lead as the busiest airport with 12,093 departures, followed closely by Gatwick, Manchester, and Stansted.
  • easyJet is anticipated to be the top airline with 10,276 departures, followed by British Airways and Ryanair.

During the Easter weekend of 2025, the following data has been noted:

  • 11,282 flights are scheduled to depart from UK airports, offering over two million seats.
  • The busiest day for UK flights will be Easter Friday, featuring 2,949 departures.
  • Current data shows a 4% decrease in Easter departures compared to 2019, when 11,743 flights were recorded. However, this represents a 6% increase compared to Easter 2024, indicating a positive recovery trend in the industry.
  • Once again, Dublin is expected to be the most favored international destination, followed by Amsterdam, Malaga, Alicante, and Mallorca.
