Emirates Launches Enhanced A380 Operations to Manchester and Milan

Emirates is set to enhance its service to the UK with retrofitted A380s incorporating Premium Economy seating starting from June.

Emirates is preparing to enhance its services with the latest Airbus A380s equipped with upgraded cabin features, including a Premium Economy option, at both Manchester and Milan airports.

Starting from June 6, Emirates will operate its newly retrofitted A380s on EK017/018 flights to Manchester, followed by services to Milan commencing July 1 on EK091/092. This expansion of routes will provide nearly 5,000 Premium Economy seats weekly in and out of the UK.

The retrofitted A380 service to Manchester will complement existing operations on the Dubai-London Heathrow route, where four of these enhanced aircraft are currently deployed. Moreover, the introduction of new A350 services to Edinburgh and the refurbished Boeing 777 for London Stansted will bolster Emirates’ UK connectivity.

Milan will additionally become the airline’s second Italian location offering the new cabin and Premium Economy options, supporting its strategy of expanding premium services across its network. By July, travelers can enjoy these upgraded features on the Emirates A380 to various key locations across Australasia and Asia including Sydney, Singapore, and Mumbai.

In-Flight Experience

The Premium Economy on the A380 features a configuration of 2-4-2 with 56 seats offering ample space for both work and relaxation. Each seat comes with in-seat charging and a side cocktail table. The inflight experience is enhanced with selections of curated menus and an extensive beverage list, including the exclusive Chandon Vintage Brut 2016 available only to Premium Economy travelers.
