This partnership is set to revolutionize payment options for airlines utilizing SabreSonic and Radixx, offering a broad array of payment methods and additional services.
The objective is to streamline payment processes, improve user experiences, and lower operational expenses.
According to Nicolas Ortiz Luengo, Sabre’s senior director for travel payments product:
“This agreement highlights our commitment to helping airlines improve their payments strategies by enhancing the user experience and reducing costs. Seamlessly integrating CellPoint Digital helps airlines optimize their payment strategies, ensuring secure transactions and support for increasingly used alternative forms of payment. With a wide variety of payment options available, the collaboration drives greater efficiency and satisfaction in the airline industry.”

It simplifies the expansion of their payment mix, supports local market needs, and reduces friction at checkout, all of which contribute to higher conversion rates. As the role of payments grows in both customer experience and cost management, this integration offers greater flexibility and control.”
Greater transactional freedom
With Sabre and CellPoint Digital’s integrated technologies, airlines can select from diverse payment methods, including global card networks, digital wallets, alternative payment options, and direct bank transfers utilizing real-time or open banking systems.
This initiative reinforces Sabre’s dedication to evolving with the travel industry’s complex payment landscape and enhancing distribution capabilities.
The partnership aims to empower airlines to meet consumer expectations while aligning with changing business dynamics in the realm of payments.
