Virgin Voyages Unveils Rojo by Razzle Dazzle: Spanish Culinary Experience at Sea

Virgin Voyages introduces a new Spanish-themed restaurant, Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, on its cruise ship Brilliant Lady, featuring renowned chefs and a vibrant dining atmosphere.

Virgin Voyages is elevating onboard dining experiences with the launch of Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, a Spanish-inspired restaurant located on its latest vessel, Brilliant Lady. This exciting new venue enhances the success of Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle, the Chinese-themed restaurant introduced on the Scarlet Lady back in November.

A Culinary Revolution
Leading the Rojo kitchen are esteemed chefs Justin Severino and Nate Hobart, both well-known for their work at Morcilla, a charcuterie specializing in Spanish cuisine located in Pittsburgh. The duo, who have received a total of four James Beard Foundation Award nominations, infuses their love for Spanish gastronomy into Virgin Voyages. Popular menu items include iconic dishes like the Oxtail Montadito, which features braised oxtail, caramelized onion, mahón cheese, and crostini.

During the day, guests can savor Razzle’s Spanish-American brunch, offering jamon croquettes, acai bowls, pastries, and frittatas. As night falls, Rojo transforms into a dynamic dining environment, buzzing with Spanish flair, serving pintxos, tapas, and platos grandes inspired by various renowned culinary regions of Spain.

Sip the Spirit of Spain
In an effort to capture authentic Spanish flavors, Virgin Voyages has collaborated with Onada Consulting to curate a cocktail selection inspired by the vibrant bars of Barcelona, Madrid, and San Sebastian. The drink menu showcases traditional sangrias, artisanal vermouths, and sherries that complement the dishes beautifully. Guests can also choose from robust red wines like Rioja and refreshing whites such as Albariño from Rias Baixas, providing a true taste of Spain’s rich wine heritage.

A Redesigned Dining Space
In keeping with the culinary theme, Virgin Voyages has evolved the Razzle Dazzle space into a modern tribute to communal dining—a rich blend of wooden accents, deep reddish-orange color schemes, sleek designs, and a mix of shared tables alongside more intimate settings, creating a lively atmosphere ideal for enjoying excellent cuisine together.

More Culinary Delights Await
Rojo by Razzle Dazzle isn’t the only new addition on Virgin Voyages. The restaurant Extra Virgin, known for its Italian-inspired dishes, is set to introduce new pasta offerings, seafood risotto, and roasted monkfish, while Gunbae—the only Korean BBQ at sea—adds popular items like kimbap rolls and bo ssam (featuring whole roasted pork with oysters and caviar).

This autumn, Virgin Voyages will also unveil seven original productions onboard Brilliant Lady, along with exciting updates to its diverse culinary selections.
