
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced the introduction of a new direct flight route from Manila to the city of Da Nang, Vietnam, starting on July 1.
Utilizing an Airbus A321 which accommodates up to 199 passengers, the service will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
In a statement issued on Monday, April 7, airline president Stanley Ng expressed excitement about the new route: “We at Philippine Airlines are excited to strengthen our close relationship with the Vietnamese people with the introduction of direct Manila-Da Nang flights.”
Ng emphasized the airline’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and boosting tourism and commerce between Manila and Da Nang.
He added, “We look forward to welcoming more leisure and business travelers onboard our flights to Da Nang.”
Recently, PAL increased its flights between Manila and Hanoi to a daily schedule and will commence services from Cebu to Ho Chi Minh beginning on May 2. The Philippine flag carrier also operates eight weekly flights between Manila and Ho Chi Minh.
