
Tourism Malaysia Partners with Winning Moves for Unique MONOPOLY Edition
The Kuala Lumpur version of MONOPOLY will feature popular attractions, aimed at boosting tourism.
Tourism Malaysia has announced an exciting collaboration with Winning Moves to develop a special edition MONOPOLY game featuring notable landmarks from Kuala Lumpur. This edition aims to be launched by the end of the year, coinciding with the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.
Promoting Kuala Lumpur’s Heritage This initiative will provide tourists with a unique perspective on Kuala Lumpur’s rich cultural landscape while generating curiosity about its vibrant communities. By documenting the city’s attractions in a game format, the collaboration is expected to enhance tourism experiences.
“We’re thrilled to partner with MONOPOLY to bring a piece of Kuala Lumpur to life through this interactive board game. Our goal is to inspire travelers by showcasing the beauty and excitement of the city in a new way,” stated Manoharan Periasamy, Director-General of Tourism Malaysia.
Highlighting Local Identity Jennifer Lau, the Partnerships Manager at Winning Moves, added: “We’re eager to collaborate with local stakeholders to ensure that this edition accurately reflects the unique identity and energy of Kuala Lumpur.”
