
WestK and Cathay Unveil New Video Series to Spotlight Hong Kong Culture
A new collaborative video series by WestK and Cathay aims to promote Hong Kong's vibrant cultural scene through engaging storytelling and in-flight entertainment.
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (WKCDA), in association with its exclusive travel partner Cathay, has introduced a new video series titled “WestK in the Sky.” This initiative, aimed at promoting Hong Kong’s rich cultural landscape, is accessible through the in-flight entertainment systems of Cathay Pacific.
The series features a variety of notable cultural landmarks and aims to elevate Hong Kong’s status as a global cultural hub. Several episodes have already been released, including highlights of various exhibitions at the Hong Kong Palace Museum and M+.
Episodes include:
- A Unique Cultural Mission: Meet with Betty Fung and Ronald Lam as they discuss the importance of cultural exchange.
- Inside Hong Kong Palace Museum: A tour led by Dr. Louis Ng.
- Inside M+: A guided tour by Suhanya Raffel and Doryun Chong.
- A Dazzling Fashion Journey: Explore French fashion history with Karen Mok.
- M+ Facade: A Canvas of Light: Showcasing LED art displays.
- When Jazz meets Cantopop: Highlighting a unique collaboration at Freespace Jazz Fest 2024.
