Dusit International to Expand Operations in India
Dusit International is set to enhance its footprint in India, targeting luxury and upper midscale segments and focusing on untapped markets.
Dusit International aims to bolster its operations in India by introducing luxury and upper midscale brands in high-potential yet underserved markets.
With India’s increasing disposable income and demand for premium hospitality, Dusit is strategically targeting Tier 2 and 3 cities while also eyeing opportunities in its major cities.
Significant developments include the opening of the dusitD2 Fagu, Shimla in December 2024 and plans for three new properties in Karnataka by 2028. These include the wellness-oriented Devarana Sakleshpur and two Dusit Princess hotels.
“India presents a remarkable growth opportunity for us, especially in Tier 2 and 3 cities where the demand for premium hospitality is rising,” stated Siradej Donavanik.
In pursuing its expansion, Dusit will also initiate six additional hotels across the nation, with notable venues set to open soon in cities like Raipur, Bhiwadi, Kolkata, and Lonavala.
Dusit emphasizes a commitment to sustainable practices through its Tree of Life program, aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring positive impacts in the communities it serves. Alongside expanding its footprint in India, Dusit is investing in the local workforce through its hospitality education initiatives, aiming to uphold high service standards as they grow.
