
ATM 2025 Registration Surges by Over 100% Compared to Previous Year
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025 is set to attract a record number of high-value visitors, showcasing a 104% rise in registrations compared to last year, solidifying its status as a vital platform for travel trade professionals globally.
Key Details about ATM 2025:
- International visitors from outside the Middle East represent 52% of the overall registrations, emphasizing the event’s international significance.
- Attendees from the UAE and GCC countries collectively make up 48% of the total registrations.
Danielle Curtis, the Exhibition Director ME of ATM remarked:
“Increased international attendance strengthens the global profile of ATM, providing a vital boost to the local economy and driving revenue in sectors such as hospitality, retail, and travel, thereby demonstrating the impact and strength of business events.”
She added:
“This year’s edition is expected to see notable growth in participation from key regions, reflecting demand from across the global tourism industry.”
The top five countries registering for ATM 2025 include the UAE, India, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. Notably, India’s expanding market is a significant contributor to this growth, with Egypt’s tourism revenues having exceeded $15.3 billion in 2024. Furthermore, the UK continues to be a critical hub for both inbound and outbound tourism.
In 2024, registrations from visitors increased significantly from regions such as Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East, with impressive annual growth observed primarily in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
ATM 2025 is anticipated to host over 55,000 attendees, with around 37,000 expected as visitors, including more than 7,000 distinguished buyers. This year, more than 2,800 companies will be represented, showcasing over 161 global destinations.
The overarching theme for ATM 2025 is: “Global Travel: Developing Tomorrow’s Tourism Through Enhanced Connectivity”. This will focus not just on technology but also on industry-wide partnerships and the communities that serve as essential centers for trade and tourism.
New features for this year include a Start-Up and Innovation Zone, designed to nurture emerging travel innovators and offering them a platform to share their groundbreaking ideas. Featured companies include Biyiy Electric Bikes, Ztexa Global, and Traveln.ai among others, focusing on innovations that enhance travel experiences.
Key partnerships with the Dubai World Trade Centre, Emirates (Official Airline Partner), and several other organizations reiterate the event’s credibility and scope.
