Norwegian Cruise Line has officially welcomed guests aboard its eagerly awaited Norwegian Aqua for her maiden voyage from Lisbon to Southampton, England. As the first vessel in the Prima Plus Class, Norwegian Aqua is transforming cruise travel with innovative features, elevated dining experiences, and world-class entertainment, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of NCL’s fleet.

A New Chapter for NCL

The Norwegian Aqua, designed for more than 2,000 guests, is launching its inaugural season with a special five-part series. Passengers on her maiden journey are among the first to experience NCL’s latest innovations, providing MORE excitement, delicious dining, and immersive entertainment. The series will conclude in Miami in April with an official christening event led by Emmy® Award-winning actor Eric Stonestreet, Aqua’s godparent.

After her Transatlantic crossing to the United States, Norwegian Aqua will be based in Miami, Port Canaveral (Orlando), and New York City, providing itineraries to the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Bermuda through March 2027.
