Star Air India Enhances Operations with New Revenue Management System

Indian regional carrier Star Air has implemented Maxamation’s groundbreaking Aviator Revenue Management system, marking a significant milestone as the first airline in India to do so.
The adoption of this system aligns perfectly with Star Air’s ambitious plans to operate a fleet of 25 aircraft by 2027, increasing connectivity across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India.

With new aircraft about to launch operations, Star Air aims to serve previously underserved markets and elevate air travel standards from its base at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport.

Maxamation CEO Peter Brewer expressed excitement about this collaboration, stating, “Star Air is Maxamation’s first customer in India and we are delighted to partner with them. Star Air has an impressive regional model that we have seen excel in other markets. The Star Air team closely collaborated with our Maxamation team in Australia and India to achieve this success, and we are eager to support Star Air’s growth in the future.”

A Necessary Addition

Given Star Air’s growth targets, the airline required a seasoned revenue management partner to maximize daily passenger revenue. Consequently, it chose Maxamation and the Aviator Revenue Management system as the ideal solution.

Star Air’s General Manager for Revenue Management, Anil Rajvani, has praised the benefits that Aviator has brought to the airline. He stated, “The Maxamation team has been fast and professional throughout our partnership. The onsite training was tailored to our needs and has positioned us well to optimize flight revenue. Importantly, we are already witnessing revenue growth.”
