Jumeirah Carlton Tower is excited to participate in The Big Egg Hunt, a city-wide celebration of art and conservation that transforms London’s most iconic landmarks into a vibrant open-air gallery from 24 March to 27 April 2025.

The hotel has collaborated with acclaimed Emirati artist Hashel Al Lamki to create a remarkable two-foot egg sculpture called Foraminifera II, inspired by the ethereal beauty of sunsets. This artwork reflects Al Lamki’s distinctive style and his exploration of the bond between humanity and nature.

During his creative residency at the hotel, Al Lamki designed a piece that embodies his belief in art as a bridge connecting nature, history, and the future. Commenting on the collaboration, he stated:

“Every act of creation is an act of care. With the support of Jumeirah, I aim to create art not only for today but for future generations, connecting art, biodiversity, and the urgent need for conservation.”

In recognition of the hotel’s involvement, a miniature replica of Al Lamki’s egg will be displayed at The Chinoiserie starting 1 April, offering guests a chance to admire the design. To enhance the Easter experience, Executive Pastry Chef Martin Haidar and his team have crafted a unique chocolate egg inspired by Hashel’s creation, featuring caramel flakes and hazelnut praline. This exclusive Easter treat will be available throughout April.

Recognized as the world’s largest egg hunt, The Big Egg Hunt will bring life to locations such as Chelsea, Covent Garden, Battersea Power Station, and The British Museum with impressive sculptures designed by various artists, designers, and local brands.

Participants are encouraged to explore the trail through a free app, collect virtual eggs, unlock prizes, and engage in a silent auction for a chance to take home one of the unique creations, all while raising essential funds for Elephant Family, which works to protect habitats and wildlife in South Asia.
