Located in the historic former American Embassy at Grosvenor Square, The Chancery Rosewood is now open for reservations starting from 1 September 2025. This Grade II listed building, developed by Qatari Diar Europe LLP, seamlessly combines rich history with modern luxury, featuring architectural restoration by British architect Sir David Chipperfield and suite designs by French interiors architect Joseph Dirand.
Property Highlights
The Chancery Rosewood is an all-suite hotel offering 144 meticulously designed spacious suites that highlight craftsmanship and celebrate the property’s storied past. Many suites provide stunning views of the neighborhood, including Grosvenor Square and Mayfair.
The hotel will host eight dining options, including the first European branch of New York’s Carbone, as well as a unique Asian concept restaurant. One notable feature, Eagle Bar, named after the 10-foot high golden Eagle that adorned the building when it first opened in 1960, will offer breathtaking panoramic views from its rooftop bar.
Additionally, a state-of-the-art ballroom with a capacity for 750 guests will be nestled beneath the building, while Asaya® Spa will offer comprehensive wellness facilities including a fitness center and indoor swimming pool.
