A Step Towards Growth
Rakesh Raicar, Cathay’s regional general manager for South Asia, highlighted the significance of this resumption, stating, “Resuming flights to Hyderabad is pivotal in our expansion strategy for India, offering travelers enhanced connectivity and superior services.”
He emphasized that the increasing economic prominence of Hyderabad makes it a valuable addition to Cathay Pacific’s global network.
Pradeep Panicker, CEO of GMR Hyderabad International Airport, expressed optimism about the route’s reopening, noting its potential to strengthen business relationships and tourism between regions. The move also provides crucial air cargo capacity, benefiting industries reliant on timely delivery of perishable goods and mail.
