
Trip.com Sees a Surge in Raya Travel Bookings from Singapore
Trip.com reports that international travel bookings by Singaporeans for this year’s Hari Raya Puasa season increased by over 60 percent compared to the year before.

Insights from Trip.com’s booking data illustrate that Singaporeans are exploring secondary cities and distant locations while opting for longer overseas trips for their Hari Raya celebrations.
Key trends in Singapore for Eid al-Fitri 2025
While destinations like Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur excel in popularity, secondary cities such as Guangzhou and Osaka have emerged among the top 10 destinations for the first time. Demand for travel to cities like Chongqing, Chengdu, and Busan more than doubled year-on-year.
Singaporeans are venturing further abroad, with trip bookings to Spain, Switzerland, France, and Italy tripling compared to last year. The farthest destination booked this Hari Raya was Lima, Peru.
Additionally, travelers are extending their trips, with the average length rising from 8.38 to 9.19 days this season. Spending on international flights and hotels increased by 5.9 percent, reflecting a strong interest in value for money.
