Air France Partners with Softiel for New Business Class Mattresses

Air France reveals a new mattress offering for its business class, designed to enhance passenger comfort during long-haul flights.

Air France and Softiel Collaborate on Business Class Mattresses

Air France is enhancing its long-haul business class experience by introducing a new mattress pad from Softiel, a luxury brand owned by Accor. This move follows a recent upgrade of the first class cabin. The mattress pad is intended to provide passengers with a feeling akin to “floating on a cloud.”

The new mattress will be made available during boarding, alongside other comfort items such as pillows, blankets, and slippers. It is designed for all Air France long-haul flights, including those on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A350.

The introduction of this mattress pad will take place starting July 2025, with a complete rollout expected by the year-end. Fabien Pelous, Air France’s Senior VP of Customer Experience, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “We are delighted to join forces with the expertise of Sofitel MY BED, an exceptional partner, to continue making Business cabin travel a true haven of well-being in the sky.”
