Vialattea, one of Europe’s prominent ski areas, has announced that it will host an additional Giant Slalom race as part of the Audi FIS Ski World Cup on February 21. This new race adds to a thrilling lineup of events scheduled from February 21 to 23, designed for winter sports enthusiasts.
Highlights of this exciting three-day event include:
- Giant Slalom Race on February 21, followed by another on February 22, and a Slalom race on February 23.
- The venue features over 750 seats for spectators to enjoy the action.
- A variety of entertainment options will be offered, including local food and wine at the ‘PiemonTaste’ area and plenty of activities in the Snow Village.
- Notable performances include a flyover by the ‘Frecce Tricolori’ and a medal ceremony featuring electric violinist Andrea Casta.
- The weekend will conclude with an exclusive après-ski event celebrating the achievements of the athletes.
This race weekend is a unique opportunity to witness world-class skiing at Sestriere, known for its challenging slopes and history of hosting major skiing competitions, including the Winter Olympics and various World Cup races.
In addition, Vialattea has extended its operating days for the 2024/2025 season to 129, concluding on April 13.
