The Advantage Travel Partnership has announced that Eagle Travel will now operate under its Managed Services model, known as Advantage Managed Services (AMS), moving from being a standard member.
Eagle Travel noted that with access to Advantage’s tailored AMS back-office V-Suite and a dedicated finance team to handle supplier payments, they aim to meet their strategic goals effectively.
Based in Bedford since 1991, Eagle Travel is renowned for its boutique travel agency services, including bespoke and luxurious holidays, with offerings like global cruises, rail journeys, UK tours, and beach holidays. They prioritize personal service and a professional environment to ensure a trusted experience for customers.
This transition also marks the semi-retirement of co-owners Sue Alexander and Carole Forth, who have played pivotal roles in the company’s success. Sue began her travel career in 1979, joined Eagle in 1994, and along with Carole, took the helm in 2013. Their commitment to exceptional service will guide Eagle Travel as it embraces the advantages of the AMS model.
Charlotte McGennity, who has been part of Eagle Travel for nine years and has travel industry experience since 1998, will now lead the agency into this new chapter.
Sue Alexander stated, “Joining Advantage Managed Services has allowed us to enhance operational efficiency and future-proof our business. We look forward to this new chapter, continuing to provide our clients with the highest level of service while leveraging the advantages of AMS to drive growth and efficiency.”
Kelly Cookes added: “We are eager to work closely with Eagle Travel during this exciting new chapter and wish Charlotte every success in her new role as they revitalize operations under new leadership.”
