
The Hotel Seiryu Kyoto Kiyomizu has received the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star rating for the fourth consecutive year, showcasing its commitment to outstanding hospitality.
With 48 beautifully designed rooms, the hotel first secured this Four-Star achievement in 2022.
Originally established as Kiyomizu Elementary School in 1933, the building underwent a transformation into a boutique hotel while maintaining its historical allure. Located in Kyoto’s Higashiyama district, the hotel provides easy access to renowned landmarks including the Kiyomizudera Temple, the historic Gion district famous for its geisha culture, and the scenic streets of Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, which are lined with traditional wooden townhouses and teahouses.
