Flyadeal has appointed Rogier Van Enk as the new Chief Commercial and Customer Officer, as the airline targets ambitious growth aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
flyadeal recently named Rogier van Enk, a seasoned European airline executive, as its new Chief Commercial and Customer Officer. Bringing a wealth of experience from British Airways and Finnair, Van Enk joins the airline at a pivotal moment as it undergoes significant growth.
With just seven years under its belt, flyadeal is praised for swiftly capturing the title of the fastest-growing low-cost carrier in the region. Presently, it operates a modern fleet comprising 37 aircraft across 30 destinations in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
In Van Enk’s words, “This presents a fantastic opportunity to join flyadeal, an airline with ambitious yet realistic growth goals aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 aimed at building a vibrant aviation and tourism sector.”
He expressed excitement at the pace of expansion, pointing out the launch of new routes every two weeks and an ambitious target of tripling destinations to over 100 by 2030. Van Enk has had a distinguished career in various roles at Finnair and British Airways, which positions him well to contribute effectively to flyadeal’s evolving strategies.
