From May 28 to August 18, 2025, the carrier is providing a free checked bag for travelers who book flights during this window. Additionally, Frontier’s Economy Bundle will also be complimentary, which typically includes a personal item, a carry-on, seat selection, and no change fees.

Airline Teases Free Bags and Other Benefits Could Become Permanent

Under this offer, new flights must be booked by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on March 24, 2025. This promotion will also allow passengers to use the promo code FREEBAG at checkout for a free checked bag, though it is limited to one bag per person, per direction, subject to standard weight restrictions.

According to the airline, the success of this promotion may influence whether similar benefits will become a permanent aspect of their service. CEO Barry Biffle highlighted the importance of customer value, stating, “At the end of the day, travelers just want to be valued. We’re bringing back the things people love about flying – free bags, free seat selection, and flexibility – without the extra fees. No games, just great value.”
