AirAsia Joins Forces with Ripper GC for Exciting Partnership

AirAsia has announced a new collaboration with Ripper GC aimed at enhancing the golfing experience for fans and aspiring athletes.

AirAsia, ASEAN’s leading travel brand, has recently partnered with Ripper GC, a competitive team in the LIV Golf League. This collaboration aims to elevate the golfing experience for both fans and new athletes. The partnership comes after Ripper GC’s substantial success in the 2024 Team Championship.

In a statement, Cameron Smith, team captain of Ripper GC, expressed his excitement, highlighting the essential role of AirAsia in making travel accessible for aspiring golfers.

“I came up playing on the Australian and Asian tours. And one of the biggest barriers for up-and-coming golfers then and now, is travel. AirAsia is helping break down those barriers and giving a new generation of golfers the opportunity to fulfill their dreams.”
“J’ai grandi en jouant sur les circuits australien et asiatique. L’un des plus grands obstacles pour les golfeurs en devenir, c’est le voyage. AirAsia aide à surmonter ces obstacles et donne à une nouvelle génération de golfeurs la possibilité de réaliser leurs rêves.”

The partnership aims to inspire a burgeoning generation of athletes and promote access to high-quality golf experiences. As Rudy Khaw, CEO of AirAsia, stated:

“AirAsia has always been about bold moves and big dreams—democratizing travel and opportunities across ASEAN.”
“AirAsia a toujours été une question de mouvements audacieux et de grands rêves – démocratiser les voyages et les opportunités à travers l’ASEAN.”
