
Goa’s highly anticipated spring festival, the Shigmo Festival, is ready to enchant visitors with vibrant cultural displays. Scheduled from March 15 to 29, 2025, various towns in Goa will pulse with festive energy, showcasing lively processions, traditional dances, and immersive performances that reflect the state’s rich cultural tapestry.
The festivities kick off in Ponda on March 15, followed by Margao on March 16, Quepem on March 17, and Curchorem on March 18. The celebration spreads to Shiroda on March 19, with events continuing in Calangute and Bicholim on March 20, Vasco on March 21, and Panaji on March 22. On March 23, Mapusa and Sanguem will host parades, while Canacona and Cuncolim will feature festivities on March 24. The vibrant celebrations will move to Pernem on March 25, Dharbandora on March 26, Valpoi on March 27, Sanquelim on March 28, finally wrapping up in Mandrem on March 29.
