English Riviera to Hold ‘Bay of Lights 2025’

Following the remarkable success of the Bay of Lights 2024, the English Riviera BID Company, in collaboration with Torbay Council, is thrilled to announce the official dates for this year’s festival.

This year’s event promises to be even more spectacular, featuring new attractions and beautiful illuminations that will transform the area into a festive wonderland.

Last year’s festival witnessed a significant 37% increase in attendance, welcoming 1.2 million visitors, further establishing it as a must-visit holiday event in the Southwest.

The festivities will span across the scenic seafronts of Torquay, Paignton, and Brixham, with enchanting activities for all ages. Highlights will include the much-loved Train of Lights and the Illumination Trail, which features stunning displays and a free light trail.

CEO Carolyn Custerson stated, “We are delighted to announce the official dates for Bay of Lights 2025. Last year’s event was phenomenal, and we are excited to welcome visitors back for what promises to be our most spectacular celebration yet.”
