SAii Laguna Phuket Hosts the Essence of Phuket Event

The annual Serandipians and Takumians event brought together luxury travel designers and hospitality brands at SAii Laguna Phuket.

SAii Laguna Phuket hosted over 150 luxury travel advisors for the annual Serandipians and Takumians event from March 3-7. The theme of the gathering was The Essence of Phuket, providing a platform for travel designers to engage with luxury hospitality brands in one of the world’s most scenic locations.

The event was the first of its kind to take place in Asia and served as an invitation for member agencies globally to connect with regional suppliers for networking and knowledge sharing.

Over three days, attendees participated in pre-scheduled meetings to foster business relationships and share insights on excellence within the luxury travel sector. The Essence of Phuket showcased Serandipians’ aim to strengthen global connections in high-end travel.

By hosting this prestigious gathering, SAii Laguna Phuket demonstrated its commitment to being a prime destination for luxury travelers, offering top-notch services and authentic experiences.

A notable part of the week was the Idolons award ceremony, which recognized exceptional contributions from community members in luxury travel. Moreover, the second edition of the Master Designers and Crafters conference focused on emerging trends and innovations in luxury travel.

The week included numerous social events, such as an elegant cocktail dinner and a themed Serandiparty, facilitating relaxed interactions among industry leaders.

Recently, SAii Laguna Phuket became a member of the Serandipians Luxury Travel Network, reflecting its dedication to providing exceptional luxury experiences. Bart Callens, the resort’s General Manager, expressed honor in hosting the event, emphasizing a commitment to exceptional service and Thai hospitality.

Quentin Desurmont also expressed appreciation for the support from SAii Laguna Phuket, indicating excitement for returning for a second edition in March 2026.
