SIHOT Integrates Hotel Reservations into Digital Wallets for Seamless Check-Ins

Guests can now access their hotel reservations through Apple and Google Wallets, streamlining the check-in process.

Hotel Reservations Now Accessible via Apple and Google Wallets

Hotel management system SIHOT has introduced a feature that enables guests to integrate their hotel reservations directly into Apple and Google Wallets, enhancing their check-in experience.

By scanning a QR code included in their digital hotel reservation, guests can enjoy a more efficient check-in procedure, allowing them immediate access to their booking details right on their mobile devices. This integration works seamlessly with existing SIHOT systems such as SIHOT.PMS and SIHOT.WEB.

This advancement is a critical step toward the digital transformation in hospitality, improving operational efficiency and guest communication. With technology like this, guests can access essential travel details promptly, significantly lessening the hassle of locating confirmation emails.

Carsten Wernet, Chief Executive of SIHOT, emphasized the necessity of such measures: “We want to further improve the guest experience – we all know how frustrating it can be to search through emails for a single booking confirmation. By connecting to Apple or Google Wallet, we provide instant access to reservation details, which facilitates quick and smooth check-ins. This way guests won’t have to wait for their confirmation when they arrive.”

While the digital confirmation will assist with key replacements at check-in kiosks, guests will still need to present necessary information to complete their stay.
