A significant increase in cruise tourism as 17 international vessels dock in Hong Kong, attracting thousands of visitors.

The Tourism Commission and the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) have worked to bring various international cruise ships to Hong Kong. A total of 17 international cruises are set to dock this March, with four ships arriving simultaneously on March 9, 2025, bringing approximately 5,400 visitors from 31 different countries.

Visitors have the chance to join local tours showcasing unique cultural experiences, such as tasting Hong Kong-style egg tarts and visiting notable historical sites, like the Kowloon Walled City. Notable cruise lines include Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Silversea Cruises, and Seabourn Cruises.

In addition to traditional tourist attractions, guests are also exploring local neighborhoods to gain a deeper understanding of Hong Kong’s rich history and culture. Exciting moments from their tours are expected to enhance the cruise experience in the city.

HKTB is aiming to solidify Hong Kong’s reputation as a premier cruise hub in Asia.
