Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority partners with Trip.com Group to enhance the appeal of Ras Al Khaimah as a travel destination for Chinese tourists.

Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) and Trip.com Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at ITB Berlin 2025 to launch new initiatives aimed at boosting Ras Al Khaimah’s appeal as a premier destination for Chinese travelers.

The MoU, signed by Amanda Wang, Vice President of Trip.com Group, and Iyad Rasbey, Vice President of Destination Tourism Development at RAKTDA, continues the successful partnership and aims to enhance the emirate’s visibility in one of the world’s rapidly growing outbound travel markets.

Utilizing Trip.com Group’s advanced digital ecosystem and data intelligence, the collaboration aims to engage Chinese travelers effectively throughout their travel journey - from inspiration to on-ground experiences.

Ras Al Khaimah’s natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and premium hospitality offer an unforgettable Arabian escape that travelers are now encouraged to explore. Following a successful launch phase, the partnership has led to a significant increase in hotel bookings and tourist interest.

Iyad Rasbey commented: “The extension of our partnership is crucial in pursuing growth opportunities within the Chinese market.” Amanda Wang added: “Ras Al Khaimah’s unique offerings will be presented through targeted marketing to attract more visitors.”

Moreover, they plan to enhance accessibility for Chinese tourists through features like language support and digital payment options.
