Delta Airlines Teams Up with Shake Shack for Expanded In-Flight Service
Delta Airlines is enhancing its on-board offerings by partnering with Shake Shack, introducing popular burgers to flights starting December 2024.
Delta Airlines is poised to enhance the inflight dining experience by expanding its collaboration with Shake Shack, renowned for its popular burgers. This partnership, which kicked off with a successful pilot in Boston late last year, will see the introduction of Shake Shack burgers on various U.S. flights starting March 4, 2025.
To celebrate the partnership, Delta is launching a unique promotion in collaboration with Uber Eats. Customers who join the waitlist for the SkyMiles program before March 6 will receive a ‘buy one ShackBurger, get one free’ offer through Uber Eats, valid until March 14.
Noteworthy Plans
- The partnership will introduce Shake Shack’s signature burger on select flights over 900 miles, available in First Class.
- Additional seasonal menu updates are on the horizon, including special meals tailored to dietary restrictions.
“Customers are raving about the Shake Shack experience onboard our flights after serving more than 10,000 burgers out of Boston since launching in December,” said Stephanie Laster. “This is part of our work to partner with brands our customers already know and love while continuing to raise the bar for the in-flight experience.”
The collaboration reflects Delta’s ongoing mission to elevate its onboard offerings, aiming to provide meals that meet growing customer demand and enhance the flight experience.
