Janu Tokyo Marks Its First Anniversary with Art-Inspired Afternoon Tea
Janu Tokyo celebrates a year of operation by hosting a unique Afternoon Tea event featuring culinary creations inspired by art.
Celebrating a Milestone
As it commemorates its first anniversary, Janu Tokyo is hosting an Afternoon Tea with Art event, a collaboration that brings together gastronomy and art. The event is scheduled from March 15 to May 11, aligning with Tomokazu Matsuyama’s first solo exhibition in Tokyo at the nearby Azabudai Hills Gallery.
This event promises a delightful experience of sweet and savory delicacies inspired by Matsuyama’s latest art series, FIRST LAST. Guests at the hotel will receive complimentary tickets to the exhibition, along with an exclusive opportunity to purchase a limited-edition print of his new work, Nice Quiet Hot Tears.
General Manager Noriko Tanaka stated: “At Janu Tokyo, we strive to inspire our guests through art, culture, wellbeing, and gastronomy. It is an honour to bring this concept to life, as part of our first anniversary celebration, in partnership with Tomokazu Matsuyama, a next-generation Japanese artist who shares our values and that of our dynamic neighbourhood, Azabudai Hills.”
