Booking.com Collaborates with MMPRC to Promote Maldives Tourism

Booking.com and the Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) have established a partnership to boost tourism in the Maldives through a new Memorandum of Understanding.

Booking.com and the Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on promoting the Maldives as a premier travel destination. This partnership aims to leverage Booking.com’s global reach and marketing expertise to highlight the islands’ natural beauty, culture, and diverse experiences, ultimately driving more tourism to the region.

The MoU, which is effective from March 1, 2025, until March 1, 2027, establishes a collaborative framework for various initiatives and campaigns focused on enhancing tourist arrivals. This includes innovative marketing efforts, increasing the visibility of Maldives tourism on Booking.com, and conducting workshops for accommodation providers.

Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO of MMPRC, stated: “The partnership with Booking.com is essential for showcasing the Maldives’ beauty globally, especially highlighting our unique attractions beyond the traditional appeal. By leveraging Booking.com’s extensive network, we aim to significantly increase visitor numbers and drive tourism growth.”
