Empowering Youth Through Hospitality Skills Initiatives

Radisson Hotel Group collaborates with Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council to enhance youth employability through skill development in hospitality.

Radisson Hotel Group – South Asia has partnered with the Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) and The Job Plus to empower over 260 youths across India by providing skill development opportunities in the hospitality sector. This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of Viksit Bharat, emphasizing employment as a key factor in nation-building and is part of RHG’s commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The program focuses on training in areas such as front office operations, food & beverage services, and housekeeping, thus equipping young professionals with the necessary skills to prepare them for careers in hospitality. The collaboration aims to close the skills gap and enhance youth employability, ensuring job placements with prominent hospitality brands.

“This CSR initiative is a vital step towards cultivating a skilled and future-ready workforce within our industry,” stated Nikhil Sharma. “By investing in young talent, we aim to elevate industry standards and deliver exceptional service in the hospitality sector.”

Rajan Bahadur added, “This initiative exemplifies how corporate responsibility can align with social impact, enhancing overall service standards.”

Natwar Nagar emphasized the importance of such training programs in setting a new benchmark in the hospitality industry for youth employability and long-term economic mobility.

RHG operates over 199 hotels in India, focusing not only on major metros but also on tier-2 and tier-3 markets, and continues to introduce various brands to meet the growing demands of India’s hospitality sector.
