Loganair Achieves Recognition as Second Best Airline in the UK According to Annual Survey
Loganair has been acknowledged as the second-best airline in the UK, while British Airways falls to the bottom of the rankings.
In the results of Which?’s annual airline survey, Loganair was recognized as the second-best airline for short-haul flights in the UK.
Luke Farajallah, CEO of Loganair, commented:
“Loganair is renowned for its gold standard customer service, so it is very encouraging to be given a five-star rating by our customers. We are also very proud of the improved scoring in our operation delivery which our team has focused on over the last 12 months.”
He also added:
“Our pricing model is based on fairness and simplicity. The price we present is the price customers pay. There are no hidden costs, and we offer up to 21kg of checked luggage, a drink, and a snack as part of our service.”
Terminal decline?: British Airways finishes at the bottom of the Which? long-haul flights survey and ranks lower than Ryanair for customer service when needed by travelers.
Rory Boland, Editor of Which? Travel, stated:
“British Airways’ poor performance in our survey reflects its decline from previously held industry standards.”
Results showed contrasting performances among airlines, with Jet2 leading in short-haul flights and Singapore Airlines tops for long-haul, highlighting disparities in service quality.
A British Airways customer, Joanne Anderson, described her experiences as distressing:
“It feels like they are making a fool of their customers…”
