TransNusa Launches Direct Flights from Bali to Guangzhou
Indonesian airline TransNusa has made history by being the first in the country to introduce scheduled flights directly connecting Bali to Guangzhou, China.
In addition to this new direct service, the airline also announced plans to launch connecting flights from Guangzhou to Perth through Bali.
TransNusa Group Chief Executive Bernard Francis remarked: “We are always looking at developing new routes to benefit our passengers. While traditional routes such as Bali to Perth and Bali to Guangzhou are important, we also strive to go the extra mile to provide fast as well as seamless connectivity to our passengers.”
Francis mentioned that the new Bali-Guangzhou route allows passengers to experience one of the quickest scheduled connecting flights to either Guangzhou or Perth via Bali.
Key Details
- Transit Duration: Between one hour and 30 minutes up to two hours and 35 minutes depending on the scheduled flights.
- Connecting Flights: From April 13 to May 31, TransNusa plans to operate three connecting flights from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Perth International Airport each week. Flights from Perth will connect back to Guangzhou via Bali twice a week.
- Daily Service: Starting from June 2025, TransNusa will conduct daily flights from both Perth and Guangzhou to Bali, marketing tickets starting from US$259.
- Innovative Expansion: The launch of this route embodies a revolutionary approach and strategic success for TransNusa since its return as a premium service carrier in October 2022, following its announcement of the Bali-Perth route in January 2025, with tickets priced from US$163.
