Wizz Air Launches New Direct Flights from London to Medina and Warsaw

Wizz Air introduces a new route connecting London Gatwick to Medina, launching on August 1, 2025, and offering competitive fares with a new link to Warsaw.

Wizz Air UK, recognized as the second most punctual airline in the UK, is set to launch a direct flight from London Gatwick to Medina, Saudi Arabia, on August 1, 2025. Fares are starting at approximately £233.99.

The direct connection will facilitate hundreds of thousands of new visitors to Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, thanks to Wizz Air’s ongoing commitment to affordable travel options. Each year, more than 174,000 seats will be accessible to UK passengers, making the often-visited pilgrimage site increasingly reachable.

Additionally, the airline plans to introduce a new route connecting to Warsaw, with fares beginning at £35.99, starting August 2, 2025.

Marion Geoffroy stated, “We are delighted to announce this new route. It represents an important milestone for the airline as we expand our network beyond Europe, making air travel more accessible to many.”

Key Route Details:

Route Frequency Fares from Starts

This expansion aligns with Saudi Vision 2030’s efforts to enhance diversification and economic transformation, showcasing Medina’s growing significance as a global tourist destination.
