Thailand's PELUPO Music Festival Returns with a Sustainable Focus

The Thailand PELUPO Music Festival Returns

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has announced the return of the premier sustainable music festival, PELUPO, scheduled for March 14-15 at Treasure Hill Golf Club in Chon Buri. This year’s event emphasizes its commitment to sustainability, having been awarded the STGs STAR Certificate by TAT for its environmentally responsible initiatives.

PELUP0 aligns with TAT’s 17 Sustainable Tourism Goals (STGs) developed based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, showcasing its dedication to social-economic impact, cultural preservation, and environmental conservation.

The festival is designed to ensure responsible management and community support by implementing eco-friendly initiatives such as waste reduction and carbon offsetting. Last year, PELUPO also received the All At Once Sustainability Award, recognizing its efforts in fostering sustainable festivals in Thailand.

A Festival for All

Beyond its impressive music lineup, PELUPO 2025 promises a complete festival experience with a kids’ area, a variety of food and drink options, eco-friendly workshops, and immersive art installations. Every aspect is curated to align with the festival’s sustainability mission.

The musical offerings include notable performances from Corinne Bailey Rae, Tahiti 80, Hiromi’s Sonicwonder, and many others a celebrating diverse genres like jazz, funk, and soul. The lineup on March 14 features a mixture of genres including indie, folk, and electronic, with artists such as Dayglow, The Paper Kites, and HONNE.

PELUP0 aims to set a benchmark for responsible tourism, delivering a memorable and eco-conscious celebration.
