
Central Vietnam is poised to ascend as Asia’s premier golf destination, building on the successes of 2024. The region’s renowned golf courses, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant heritage will attract golf lovers from around the globe.
“Central Vietnam is hitting its stride as a world-class golf destination, and 2025 presents an exciting opportunity to solidify our position on the global stage,” said Stephen Banks, Director of Golf at Laguna Golf Lang Co.
This year focuses on promoting the region’s exceptional offerings to new markets as well as enhancing commitment to the local golfing community.
Central Vietnam features renowned courses designed by iconic golfers like Sir Nick Faldo and Greg Norman, generating significant interest among enthusiasts.
The calendar for 2025 is bustling, with key events such as the Asia Golf Tourism Convention scheduled to return to Danang from April 2-4. Additionally, other prominent tournaments include the Danang Invitational and the Vietnam World Masters Golf Championship, scheduled for June and September, respectively.
Beyond sports, Central Vietnam will showcase its rich culture during the Danang International Fireworks Festival, which will offer a six-night celebration.
Efforts to boost tourism are further supported by increased air routes from Danang International Airport, connecting it with major cities globally, including New Delhi and Osaka.
