ANA Launches New Japanese Sake Selection for Flights and Lounges

All Nippon Airways is set to introduce a curated selection of 53 different types of Japanese sake for both in-flight service and its lounges, starting March 1.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) will introduce a new selection of Japanese sake starting March 1.

This exclusive selection will be available across all cabin classes on ANA international flights, in Premium Class on domestic flights, and at the ANA SUITE LOUNGE and ANA LOUNGE.

  • ANA SUITE LOUNGE: Available for both international and domestic flights.
  • ANA LOUNGE: For international flights only.
  • Not applicable to ANA SUITE LOUNGE or ANA LOUNGE in Honolulu.

A total of 53 types have been carefully curated under the expertise of Yasuyuki Kitahara, ANA’s sake advisor, who is part of “THE CONNOISSEURS” and the Food & Beverage Manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton Tokyo Ariake. This collection aims to cater to both seasoned sake enthusiasts and newcomers alike, featuring a range of flavors to enhance the dining experience.

ANA pairs seasonal meals with selected sake, delivering an authentic Japanese culinary experience.

“Sake is more than just a drink; it represents Japan’s rich cultural heritage. By providing this varied selection on board and in our lounges, we aim to share the essence of Japanese craftsmanship with passengers globally,” said Tomoji Ishii. “Collaborating with Yasuyuki Kitahara ensures every bottle meets the highest quality and authenticity standards.”
