Cebu Pacific Celebrates 2.5 Million Passengers at Davao Airport in 2024

Cebu Pacific reports significant growth in passenger volume at Davao International Airport, emphasizing their commitment to accessibility for travelers.

Cebu Pacific reports that it flew over 2.5 million passengers to and from Davao International Airport in 2024.

This marks a 22% increase compared to the previous year’s total of 460,000 passengers.

As of January 2025, the low-cost carrier conducted more than 1,600 flights to and from Davao, a 44% rise from the previous January, when they recorded over 1,100 flights.

Moreover, seat capacity rose by 76%, increasing from 190,000 to 334,000 in the same timeframe last year.

The total number of routes servicing Davao reached 14 in 2024.

Accessibility for Mindanao Travelers

This growth highlights Cebu Pacific’s dedication to enhancing accessibility for Mindanao travelers. It allows better reconnections with loved ones and the exploration of new destinations within the Philippines and internationally.

Airline’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Candice Iyog stated: “At the heart of our growth is our commitment to enhancing the travel experience for passengers from the broader Mindanao region. With affordable flights and expanded connections, we remain dedicated to making air travel more accessible and convenient for everyone.”

Currently, Cebu Pacific provides direct flights to 12 domestic and 2 international destinations from Davao.
