Bahrain Airport Company Finishes First Runway Maintenance Project in 2025

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body for Bahrain International Airport (BIA), has successfully completed its first runway maintenance project for the year 2025. This maintenance included significant upgrades such as rubber removal, asphalt patching, and enhancements in Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) with LED upgrades to ensure both safety and operational efficiency.

Conducted in partnership with the Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority, this project adhered to the highest international aviation safety standards, further confirming BAC’s commitment to industry best practices.
