Air India's Showcase of Business and Premium Economy Innovations at SATTE 2025
Air India is highlighting its refurbished Business Class and Premium Economy seats along with a virtual tour of its A350 aircraft at SATTE 2025, enhancing customer experience in the travel trade.
Air India, India’s premier global airline, is exhibiting its latest Business Class and Premium Economy seats from retrofitted A320 family aircraft, alongside a virtual reality experience of the advanced A350 plane at South Asia’s Travel & Tourism Exchange (SATTE) 2025, scheduled from February 19 to 21, 2025, at the Yashobhoomi (India International Convention and Expo Centre), New Delhi.
The airline’s booth draws inspiration from its iconic gold window frame, ‘The Vista,’ which integrates aesthetics with interactive digital experiences.
At the pavilion, attendees can see live demonstrations of the airline’s retrofitted A320 family aircraft’s Business Class and Premium Economy seats. Air India currently features Premium Economy cabins in over eighty aircraft on domestic and international routes, and it is refurbishing 27 legacy A320 aircraft by mid-2025, upgrading cabins and adding Premium Economy accommodations.
The Premium Economy cabin guarantees extra space, upscaled meals, priority services, and more for travelers. Nipun Aggarwal, Chief Commercial Officer of Air India, stated, “As Air India continually advances to become a global airline with Indian roots, SATTE 2025 is an ideal platform to showcase our premium offerings while fostering partnerships with global travel industry stakeholders.”
The airline is also presenting a Virtual Reality zone to immerse visitors in the premium cabins of their A350 fleet, which currently operates on significant international routes, including Delhi-London Heathrow, New York (JFK), and Newark. The flagship A350, configured with 316 seats in a three-class layout, provides ample cabin space, large windows, mood lighting, onboard Wi-Fi, and advanced inflight entertainment, setting a new standard in passenger experience within Indian aviation.
Additionally, Air India is unveiling a selection of its new in-flight meals at the exhibition, highlighting its commitment to enhancing onboard dining experiences. Visitors can also join the Maharaja Club, the revamped loyalty program, with chances to win prizes, including exclusive gift hampers and a complimentary economy class ticket. The pavilion showcases the airline’s dedication to innovation and passenger comfort.
