This report indicates a 16.2% rise in international trips by Australians for the year ending December 2024, totaling 11.6 million trips.

- July was the most favorable month for holiday travel, with 63.1% of travellers citing leisure as their reason.
- January had a high percentage of visits to relatives at 34.8%.

- Qantas Airways led international travel with a 17.3% market share.
- Jetstar followed with 11.7% and Singapore Airlines had 9.8%.
