Singapore's Unique Rainforest Experience to Open to the Public in March 2025

A sneak peek into the Rainforest Wild Asia reveals unique forest-themed experiences set for public opening.

Sneak peeks of Rainforest Wild Asia’s unique forest-themed experiences have begun. Over the next three weeks, a variety of visitors—including Friends of Wildlife community, educators, and beneficiary groups—will access Singapore’s fifth zoological park, part of a preview leading up to its official public opening on 12 March 2025.

Rainforest Wild Asia

“We are introducing three unique experiences at Rainforest Wild Asia. First, we feature immersive flexible habitats showcasing key Southeast Asia species. Many of the region’s species are threatened by habitat loss and pollution. We aim to raise awareness about the region’s incredible wildlife,” said Mike Barclay, Group CEO of Mandai Wildlife Group.

Unique Dimensions

“Second, we invite our visitors to experience a rainforest from the tree canopy down to the forest floor. The park features stunningly crafted cave chambers inspired by the Mulu Caves in Sarawak. Lastly, we offer a customized experience from guided tours to adventurous forest treks, with pathways that cater to guests’ varying mobility needs.”

AIA Singapore is proud to support this initiative. Wong Sze Keed, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Singapore, commented, “Our support for Rainforest Wild Asia highlights our commitment to promoting conservation and mental wellness through nature immersion.”
