Inauguration of Satys' Aircraft Painting Facility in Dubai South

The newly opened facility specializes in painting and manufacturing aircraft interiors, enhancing Dubai's aviation services.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) has officially inaugurated a new, advanced facility for the French manufacturer Satys at Dubai South.

The facility specializes in finishing and painting services for business jets and commercial aircraft, including the Airbus A321 and Boeing 737. Scheduled to commence operations by the second quarter of 2025, this state-of-the-art hangar aims to enhance the aviation services offered in the region.

During the opening ceremony, HE Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation, and MBRAH CEO Tahnoon Saif expressed their enthusiasm about the facility’s potential contribution to the local aerospace hub. Saif remarked:

“The opening of Satys’ facility adds significant value to the services our partners provide at MBR Aerospace Hub and demonstrates our commitment to attracting leading global companies.”

Meanwhile, Christophe Cador stated:

“We are thrilled to unveil our new hangar at Dubai South, a pivotal step in our global growth, enabling us to provide quicker and higher-quality services for various aircrafts.”

Founded in 1986 in Blagnac, France, Satys operates 50 sites across 12 countries, with expertise in aircraft painting and interior manufacturing for both the aerospace and rail industries.
