Exoticca Secures €25 Million for Enhanced AI Travel Solutions

Exoticca has raised €25 million to boost its AI technology and expand its market presence, aiming for a seamless travel booking experience.

Exoticca, a tech-driven platform specializing in multi-day tours, has recently secured €25 million in funding aimed at enhancing its AI capabilities and expanding its market reach. This funding comes as a venture debt facility from BBVA Spark and follows a previous funding round of €60 million led by Quadrille Capital.

This new capital will expedite the development of Exoticca’s proprietary AI algorithms that facilitate trip organization, personalized recommendations, dynamic pricing, and automated itinerary creation. Its objective is to bridge the gap in the multi-day travel booking process, ensuring a smooth and integrated experience for travelers at competitive prices.

“Our vision has always been to revolutionize complex, multi-location trips through digitalization,” said Pere Vallès, CEO of Exoticca. Translation: “Nuestra visión siempre ha sido revolucionar los viajes complejos de múltiples ubicaciones a través de la digitalización.”

BBVA Spark, which has previously invested €4 million in Exoticca, is once again doubling its support. “Exoticca showcases how technology can redefine traditional travel booking models,” stated Miguel Ángel Alcalá, head of BBVA Spark in Spain. Translation: “Exoticca es un ejemplo de cómo la tecnología puede redefinir los modelos tradicionales de reserva de viajes.”
