This property has been renovated to preserve the original architectural details, such as corinthian and baroque columns, checkered marble flooring, a grand marble staircase, mahogany wooden doors, and 19th-century bronze hardware, along with a small chapel.

History of the Palace House

Mercer Residences Sevilla occupies the historic Palace House of the Marquises of Nervión, one of 25 remaining noble residences built during Spain’s Golden Age. The palatial house belonged to the widow marquise of Nervión, María Mónica de Arteche y González-Careaga, who significantly contributed to the Red Cross. Upon her death in 1986, she bequeathed the house to this organization.
