Cathay Pacific is excited to announce its partnership with Yat Tung Heen, a Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant in Hong Kong. This collaboration aims to elevate the inflight dining experience for Premium Economy and Economy class passengers on select flights.
A Taste of Hong Kong in the Air
The renowned Yat Tung Heen, headed by Chef Tam Tung, has provided exquisite dining since 1990. The new ‘Hong Kong Flavours’ inflight menu will offer a range of local dishes beginning January 2025, available on long-haul and selected regional flights, including those to the Chinese Mainland, Japan, and Thailand.

Passengers in Premium Economy can anticipate a culinary journey that starts with:
- Smoked duck breast with pickled mustard greens and galangal
Main course options include:
- Braised beef brisket and tendon with chu hou sauce and jasmine rice
- Stir-fried seafood and jade melon with XO sauce and egg fried rice
- Crispy halibut with supreme soy sauce and steamed jasmine rice
Economy Class Treats
Economy class menus feature:
- Marinated cherry tomatoes with preserved plum
Main courses such as:
- Baked chicken marinated with ginger and mandarin peel
- Sweet and sour pork with fresh pineapple
- Braised duck and taro with pickled plum sauce
